What is the story behind the win? What did you do and whom did you tell?
I was pretty broke and in my deepest despair the day that I won. I played $50 the day before and I was going to cash it out, and my mother had a stroke that day and I was so depressed. I don't know why, but I decided to play Wowpot with the $50 instead of cashing it out, and on about the third spin I won. I was in shock! At the beginning I thought someone else won, and then I realized that it was me! I even didn't know how much I was playing for until the little box popped up! The money couldn't have come in a better time. I was able to take some time out and take care of my mother. She is doing much better now, and I was able to buy her a lot of things to make her more comfortable. What really struck me was that people really do win, and that the casino really does pay! Until now I never thought that I could win this much. People were rubbing all over me to get some of that luck...my sister said she needs to rub me until she gets some luck too!

With this win, I have been on vacation, I flew my son up from Florida, whom I didn't see in a couple of years. We went to Reno, and had so much fun with it, and I didn't even try to save it. We just had a blast. It improved the quality of many people's lives that really needed it. And I was able to be there for my mother.

Where would your dream vacation be?
Hawaii. That has always been my dream. I couldn't go this time. Couldn't be away for that long from my mom.

Do you have any advice for other players?
It can happen to you too! It can happen to anyone at anytime. For me it happened when I was in my deepest despair. It was like someone heard me and sent me some money to improve the quality of our lives.
