What was your initial reaction to your jackpot win?
"I don't remember anything up to the point I won. I only know I looked back at my screen and couldn't figure out what was wrong. I was so used to seeing 'another player won the jackpot' - that I didn't realize it was me!!! I was still looking through the message to see the slot trying to figure out why I didn't hear the clapping sound I get when I win the small amounts. I was dumb. I just kept staring at the screen. I saw the $28,000 figure but I couldn't figure out why I couldn't play. I counted the numbers over and over to make sure I had $28,000 and not $28. Oh well, so much for being alert on Sunday morning.
How will you spend your winnings?
"I will pay some bills, obviously. But I also plan to get my internet business up on the net. This will go a long way in getting it started. Thank you so much.
What do you do for good luck?
"I close my eyes for luck. If I see the first symbol land in a winning spot, I close my eyes and don't open them until the reels have stopped. Sometimes I'm lucky, sometimes not.
What piece of advice has most helped you through life?
"I try to wake up every morning in a happy mood. It starts the day out right. Besides, I have dogs that can't remember the last time I scolded them so they always start out fresh every day. I guess yesterday is gone and nothing can change it. So each day I make my own changes. Tomorrow I will forget them, just like the dogs. I have a new life everyday.
What is your dream holiday destination?
"Oh, if I had to state what my dream vacation would be, I'd say I've traveled a lot so I don't have any place left I really want to go. However, if I could finish redoing my old 1961 Winnebago for the spring, I think I could find several little fairs and other places to go this summer.
What do you do in your spare time?
"I'm a retired old person. I live in the country with my two dogs. I retired too young so now I have to find things to fill my days and nights.
