What did you do when you realized you'd hit the jackpot?
"It was late at night; I was playing for less then half an hour, when I realized that I hit the jackpot. I stared at the monitor in disbelief for a few minutes. Then I thought that no one would believe me so I took a picture of the monitor. I had an extra surprise when I realized that the casino threw in an extra $2,000".

Who did you tell first?
"My husband was sleeping - so I woke him up and told him. He was sleeping so soundly that he didn't remember I told him. It was just when he came home from work the next day that he realized I won. He was very, very happy."

How will you spend your winnings?
"This will help us finish paying our mortgage - that is a great feeling to know that we will always have a roof over our heads and no one can take that away from us now. I am also planning to buy a ticket for my friend's wedding this summer; something that I wouldn't have been able to do before the win. I haven't seen her in 22 years, since high school, we found each other again on the Internet, and it will be such a treat to see her again, especially for her wedding. I am also going to be able to get a special gift for my husband."

What is your dream holiday destination?
"I think that Hawaii would be really nice to visit."

What piece of advice has most helped you through life?
"My mother always told me that everything happens for a reason. We may not know what it is at the time, but eventually we will know. This advice helped me through very difficult times".
