Did anything unusual happen the day that you hit the jackpot?
"No not really, it was one of those nights that I couldn't sleep. TV was boring, so thought I'd pass away some time on the computer."

What was your initial reaction when you won?
"When ‘You've won the jackpot' flashed up, I just sat there and stared at the screen for five minutes. I thought someone was having a joke, then it I thought hey that's me, so I did my usual thing in times of stress - I made myself a cup of tea and had a smoke. Then I sat back, looked at the screen, and let it all sink in!"

How will you spend your winnings?
"Pay of car loans and credit cards. It's going to be great being debt free! I'm going to get double glazing on the house, hopefully will be nice and warm this winter, I'm going to treat myself to a digital camera, I'm also going to send some of my winnings to my son in Australia. I haven't seen him and his wife for five years, so I'm going on a holiday over there to see them."

How long were you playing before you hit the jackpot?
"I was playing for about 10 minutes only on the minimum amount and my credits were getting low, so thought I'd have a couple of goes at the maximum and then go to bed."

What do you do for good luck?
"I do not a get lot, just hope for the best."

What piece of advice has most helped you through life?
"That no matter how bad things look at the moment things happen for a reason although it might be years later that you realize why."

What is your dream holiday destination?
"To see the world, there's so much out there to see and experience and only a short lifetime to see it all."

Tell us something you have always wanted to do and regret not doing. Will this win help you accomplish this?
"I haven't got many regrets in my life. The one I can think of is I wish I'd moved to Australia when I was a teenager. Now I can do it!"

What do you do in your spare time?
"Not a lot because of health problems, but I like fishing and being in the countryside."

If you were told you had to donate all of your winnings to a good cause, where would you donate it?
"I'd donate half each to the RNLI and the Royal British Legion."

If you were stranded on a deserted island what 3 things would you take with you and why?
"A young blonde, fast boat, and my fishing gear. On second thoughts forget the fishing gear I'd be too busy!"
